If an outdoor concert isn’t on your bucket list you need to add it now! The Hunter Valley is the favourite destination for many of the world’s best known performers… Springsteen, Sting, The Eagles, Elton John, The Rolling Stones, Cold Chisel… need we go on? They’re all lured by the stunning vineyard backdrop, great wines and country hospitality.

Then there are the wine and food festivals, including the Hunter Valley Wine & Food Festival held each May and June, and regional music and film festivals.  Whatever your party vibe, we’ve got an event so suit.

Saturday 1st December - Saturday 26th January
4:00 - 5:30pm

Join Glenguin Estate's estate manager, Phil Jones, as he takes you through Shiraz in it's many different forms by our tasting table in our Broke Wine Region Cellar Door. Weather and time permitting, we may get the opportunity to walk through the Schoolhouse Block and discuss vineyard management techniques that makes Shiraz so special.

Staring in the Northern Rhône in France and then discussing where Syrah has found favour around the world before taking an in depth look at Australian Shiraz - it's history and it's special place in the Hunter Valley. We will taste wines from France and Australia (and possibly beyond) showcasing how different Syrah/Shiraz can be depending on where it is grown, before finally having a look at a couple of Shiraz wines from the Glenguin Estate range.

The event takes place on Saturday afternoons during December and January, see the experience listing on AirBnB for availability and to book.
