The Hunter Valley Uncorked Balmoral Wine and Food festival is bringing the best of the Hunter Valley to the stunning shores of Balmoral on Sunday 19th October 2025.

It's a festival of tasting award-winning wines, artisanal cheeses, handcrafted spirits, and gourmet foods from the Hunter Valley with live music at the iconic backdrop of Sydney. Whether you're a fan of crisp Chardonnay, bold Shiraz, refreshing Semillon, a glass of bubbles, or a crafted botanical gin, there’s something for everyone to enjoy. With live entertainment and food vendors all day, this is a day not to be missed. This event is supported by Wine Selectors.

Do I need to purchase a ticket?
You do not need a ticket to enter, however if you want to consume alcohol you must purchase the Festival Package.

Getting to the event
A free shuttle bus from Spit Junction to the event will operate in 15-minute intervals throughout the day. The first bus will leave The Spit at 10.30am, and will constantly drive the route throughout the day until the last bus departs Balmoral at 5.10pm. See bus map here.

Where is the event located?
Uncorked Balmoral will be held at the Rotunda at Balmoral Beach.

How long does the festival go for?
Uncorked Balmoral opens at 11am and the festival goes until 5pm.

Can I BYO?
No alcohol can be taken into the event, we have plenty of Hunter Valley wine to enjoy! Tasting token's can be redeemed to sample wine and spirits at your chosen vendor. Additional tasting tokens can be purchased. If you choose to purchase wine by the bottle at the event is for take-away consumption only.

Are children and pets allowed?
Yes children are welcome to the festival. We also welcome well behaved furry friends but they must be kept on a leash at all times.

Allandale Winery

Established in 1978, Allandale Winery’s 40 year history is a story of growth and success. In 40 years the winery has only ever had two winemakers. Their passionate craftsmanship shows strong in the wines.

Bimbadgen

The Bimbadgen name stems from the local indigenous language meaning ‘Place of Good View’. Notable wines include the award-wining single vineyard collection, limited releases and sparkling range.

Bonvilla Estate

Bonvilla Estate is a passionately family-owned and operated vineyard, proud to showcase our classic Hunter Semillon. Known for its rich citrus notes and refined acidity, it’s the perfect pairing with fresh seafood.

Brokenwood Wines

At the heart of Brokenwood lies the belief that everyone should ‘enjoy great wine and have fun’. The Graveyard Vineyard Shiraz, ILR Reserve Semillon, and beloved Cricket Pitch range are just a few examples of their premium wines.

A boutique wine producer, founded in 1996 by well-known vignerons Jan and Jorg Gartelmann. Specialising in fine, hand-crafted wines created by expert winemakers using grapes selected from a range of premium growers.

Hungerford Hill Wines

From our humble beginnings in the 1960s, we've grown over the past 50-odd years to incorporate the award-winning Sweetwater vineyard as well as the famous Dalwood vineyard, which is considered the birthplace of Australian wine and the country's oldest continually operating vineyard.

Keith Tulloch Wine
