MEDIA RELEASE: Award-winning Hunter Valley line-up returns to Balmoral Beach this October
The Hunter Valley is heading back to Balmoral Beach on Sunday 18 October, bringing more than 20 wineries and distillers, Hunter Valley produce and live music to Sydney for Hunter Valley Uncorked Balmoral, supported by Wine Selectors.
From 11am to 5pm, festival-goers can spend the day tasting their way through the Hunter Valley beside the beach, meeting the people behind some of the region's best-known wines, discovering smaller producers and settling in for food and live entertainment along the way.
Last year's event welcomed 2,600 people to Balmoral, with an even bigger day planned for 2026.
The line-up brings together some of the Hunter Valley's nationally recognised wineries, including Brokenwood Wines, Halliday Wine Companion's 2026 Winery of the Year; and First Creek Wines /Silkman Wines’ Liz Silkman, Halliday Wine Companion’s 2025 Winemaker of the Year.
They'll be joined by long-time Uncorked favourites and boutique producers from Hunter Valley Wine Country.
Participating wineries and distillers include 1813, Aeon Wine, Allandale Winery, Bimbadgen, Bonvilla Estate, Brokenwood Wines, First Creek Wines, Gartelmann Wines, Glandore, Hungerford Hill, Keith Tulloch Wine, FAR Distilling, Latitude 32 Wines, Margan Wines, Mount View Estate, Peterson House, Petersons Wine, Saddlers Creek Wines, Savannah Estate, Scarborough Wine Co., Silkman Wines, Tulloch Wines, Tyrrell's, Winmark Wines and Wombat Crossing Vineyard.
“For one Sunday, we're bringing a little piece of Hunter Valley Wine Country to Balmoral,” said Hunter Valley Wine & Tourism Association CEO Jennie Curran.
“It's a chance to meet the people behind the wines, taste everything from classic Hunter Valley Semillon and Shiraz through to bubbles, emerging varieties and locally made spirits, then find a spot in the park and enjoy the afternoon.
“We know Sydney is one of our most important visitor markets, so we love being able to bring the Hunter Valley to them — and hopefully inspire a few future weekends in Wine Country along the way.”
The wine will be joined by plenty to eat, with Hunter Valley Cheese Factory, The Deck Café and the BBQ School among the food line-up, alongside other festival food vendors.
Festival Pack
Pre-purchase Festival Packs are $40 and include event entry, a branded tumbler and four tasting vouchers. Packs will be available for $45 on the day.
Everyone who pre-purchases a Festival Pack will also go into the draw to win a case of premium Hunter Valley wines.*

Free event shuttle buses will run every 15 minutes from Mosman and Spit Junction to Balmoral Beach.
