If an outdoor concert isn’t on your bucket list you need to add it now! The Hunter Valley is the favourite destination for many of the world’s best known performers… Springsteen, Sting, The Eagles, Elton John, The Rolling Stones, Cold Chisel… need we go on? They’re all lured by the stunning vineyard backdrop, great wines and country hospitality.

Then there are the wine and food festivals, including the Hunter Valley Wine & Food Festival held each May and June, and regional music and film festivals.  Whatever your party vibe, we’ve got an event so suit.

Love your cheeses and small goods, but are a little unsure of how to match them with a delicious wine? Join the club, you’re not alone.

Two Fat Blokes Gourmet Kitchen has brought together an international selection of world-famous cheeses and small goods, and matched them with outstanding Hunter Valley wines for you to enjoy. On this experience, one of the Two Fat Blokes will teach you all about cheese and wine matching in a fun and educational way by. You’ll know your French Epoisse from an English Charnwood cheddar and learn why a Hunter Valley Semillon can be a match made in heaven when served with one cheese but a disaster when matched with another. And why Spanish Jamon or an Italian Brescaola needs different reds to bring out the flavours in the meat as well as the wine. We held our first classes four years ago and they’re still the most popular in the Hunter Valley.
