Singleton Firelight 

Saturday 2nd May

Fireworks, ice skating, glowing lanterns, live entertainment and more Firelight returns to illuminate Singleton’s Civic Precinct on Saturday 2 May 2026 from 6pm - 9:30pm. This much-loved Autumn event transforms the Singleton Civic precinct into a vibrant, after-dark celebration of art, culture and community. There’s something for everyone to enjoy. Margan Wines Wine & Dine Dinner at Huntlee Tavern

Tuesday 5th May

Enjoy a five-course curated menu at Huntlee Tavern, with each dish designed to complement the character and style of Margan’s premium wines. The menu includes chilli garlic prawn skewer, prosciutto wrapped chicken tenderloin and earl grey panna cotta. 

 

Faulty Towers The Dining Experience at 4 Pines at The Farm 

Thursday 7th of May

Faulty Towers The Dining Experience is the longest running Fawlty Towers show of any kind worldwide. Come enjoy a night of laughs as the iconic trio brings the famous British BBC series to life in a dining experience like no other. 

 

Cork & Fork Cup at Chateau Elan 

Saturday 9th of May

Experience the very best food, wine and golf the Hunter Valley has to offer at the Chateau Elan Cork & Fork Cup. The event includes 18 holes of golf, shared electric cart hire, coffee and baked goods and food and wine tastings on course. The day concludes with a presentation, followed by a market-stall dinner and live music on the Terrace.

Wines From The Vault Tasting at Keith Tulloch Wines 

Friday 15th of May 

Join Keith and the team for an exclusive evening tasting through an amazing array of older vintage wines from their vault. This special evening includes tastings of Semillon, Chardonnay and Shiraz’s from across our collections,  accompanied by local grazing platters. Many of these wines are the very last few bottles and are sure to be snapped up on the night. 

 

Singleton Emergency Service Expo 

Saturday 16th of May

Grab the entire family and bring them along to the action-packed Singleton Emergency Service Expo. Don’t miss this unique opportunity to see our local emergency services in action, meet your heroes, experience live simulations and demonstrations, and learn about how you can prepare for an emergency event. The Expo brings together 20 emergency services and other emergency support agencies to showcase their incredible work and connect with the community.

 

Shiraz Release Day and Lawn Party at Thomas Wines

Saturday 16th of May

The tasting will consist of Winemakers Thommo and Dan running you through all the new release reds and giving you all the details that you could possibly want to know about the vineyards, the winery and the quirks of the year that was 2024. Each session will go for 1 hour and spots are strictly limited so get in quick. After each session, join the Thomas Wines team on the lawn for wine by the glass as well as live music and the incredible Burgers by HMC for the Shiraz Party!

 

Annual Autumn Dinner at Muse Restaurant 

Saturday 16th of May 

This dinner is put together by Head Chef Mitch Beswick and Keith, showcasing a special selection of new, museum and world class wines along side a specially created Muse Restarant menu.

Murder Mystery Takeover at Bimbadgen 

The hotly anticipated return of Bimbadgen’s Murder Mystery takeover is here. Step into a night of intrigue, deception and old-world glamour as Esca Restaurant transforms into a 1930s English country estate for an immersive whodunnit. The night includes Sparkling Semillon on arrival, 30 minutes of roaming canapés, two-course dinner and interactive murder mystery experience. 

 

Aladdin by Victorian State Ballet 

Friday 22nd May 

A much-loved annual tradition returns to PACC | Performance Arts Culture Cessnock this May, as the Victorian State Ballet brings the magic of Aladdin in a spectacular full-length classical production.

Stomp! Winemakers Table Dinner

Thrashville, the ‘slightly heavier’ music festival held at Dashville in the Hunter Valley. Held in lush bushland confines, the popular bush blast, which has savoured some hefty knocks over the last couple of years, is back with a vengeance, ready to deliver a fresh plate of awesome emerging and established acts, which will spark pure delight into anyone with a pension for punk, hard rock, heavy metal and everything in between.

 

Burning of the Barrel 

Saturday 27th June

One of the most iconic winter events, Burning of the Barrel is back for 2026. Held at Glandore Wines in the Hunter Valley, Burning of the Barrel brings together live entertainment, food and wine together with a large roaring fire and a fireworks display all in one epic night.

Hunter Valley Wine and Beer Festival 

Saturday 11th July 

The Hunter Valley Wine & Beer Festival returns to Rydges Resort Hunter Valley on Saturday 11 July 2026, delivering a full day of wine, beer and spirits, gourmet food stalls and trucks, live entertainment, kids activities, fun games, prize giveaways, a charity raffle and more. Plus immersive masterclasses running throughout the day with guided tastings, food and drink pairings, and insider insights designed to inspire both curious newcomers and seasoned sippers alike.

 

Hunter Valley Winery Run 

Sunday 19th July 

Take a run through the vineyards at the annual Winery Run. Runners can choose from an accredited marathon, half marathon, 10.5Km, 5km and kids 2km. The event is staged on the oval of Wandin in Lovedale and is an ideal location for spectators who can see their friends and family on each lap of the course. 

 

Stomp! Winter Wine Down 

Saturday 25th July 

Stomp! Winter Wine Down is a relaxed, fireside gathering designed to ease you gently into a winter evening at Stomp Wines. Running from 4.30pm to 6.30pm, this chilled-out pre-dinner session invites you to rug up, settle by the fire pits and enjoy wine, warmth and live music as the sun sets over the cellar door grounds.

 

Confetti and Chaos at 4 Pines at The Farm

You are cordially invited to a complete stranger’s wedding! It was meant to be a surprise party to celebrate Will and Stacey’s wedding, but it turned into pandemonium – with secrets spilling out as uninvited and misbehaving family members bust in, bust up and bust a move.
