Restaurant Cuvee

The Deck Cafe Lovedale

Be sure to stop into The Deck Cafe in Lovedale for a breakfast against the ambiance of the fountain pond with resident ducks. Their menu boasts local favourites including house-made muesli with vanilla yoghurt and fresh berries, their signature corn and zucchini fritters topped with house made labna, spiced tomato relish and dukkah, and French toast with fresh strawberries, blueberries, banana, Chantilly cream and maple syrup. All of this is served in an outdoor setting, allowing you to fully immerse yourself in the tranquil beauty of a Hunter Valley morning (and don't worry if it's raining, they have wet weather options).

4 Pines at The Farm

eRemo Restaurant 

Soak in the early morning views of the sun saturating the surrounding valley and resident roos at eRemo Restaurant. Choose from an Italian take on a big breakfast stacked with local pork sausages, crunchy bacon and fluffy eggs, a salmon bowl with house smoked salmon, quinoa, seeds and feta or another delicious breakfast option.

Lovedale Cafe

Conveniently located at the Hunter Valley Visitor Information Centre, the Lovedale Cafe is a favourite for tourists and locals alike. Their breakfast menu includes all the favourites and there’s a wide range of hot and cold drinks to choose.

Mezze Hunter Valley

How does breakfast on the balcony in the sun sound? Well that is exactly what you can expect from Mezze breakfast (weather permitting of course). Centrally located in the Hunter Valley, Mezze’s menu includes omelette with sautéed mushrooms and crumbled feta, smashed avocado, breakfast bruschetta, and eggs benedict for breakfast.

Blaxlands Inn

If you’re a fan of a big breakfast, look no further than Blaxlands Inn, who have a breakfast menu with a steakhouse twist. We’re talking Tomahawk Breaky Platter, Steak & Eggs, Breakfast Tower with smoked beef brisket, Maple Bacon & Egg Burger and more.

Vines at Hollydene

Located on-site at the Hollydene winery, Vines at Hollydene boasting beautiful grounds and views. Enjoy breakfast favourites like Farmers Big Breakfast, Chili Scrambled, Eggs Benny and Avocado Toast from their rotating menu.

Iron Gate Kitchen

Be transported to the Mediterranean at the stylish Spanish-inspired Iron Gate Kitchen set on the grounds of the iconic Iron Gate Estate winery. The menu is guided by seasonal produce and bold Iberian flavours. Their Mediterranean-inspired breakfast menu includes Ensalada de Frutas, a seasonal fruit salad, mint + coconut yoghurt, Monte enebro with Ciabatta, goat’s cheese, baked in the wood-fire oven, and Hunter lavender honey and even Spanish-inspired French toast. They are open for breakfast Friday to Sunday.

Ridgeview Wines

Boasting panoramic views of the working vineyard, Harvest at Ridgeview offers a modern Australian dining experience. Their menu showcases fresh, seasonal produce that is 90% sourced from their own kitchen garden and orchard.

Audrey Wilkinson
