Hunter Valley Uncorked Balmoral returns this October

MEDIA RELEASE: Hunter Valley Uncorked set to hit Balmoral Beach on Sunday 19th October, 2025.

Hunter Valley Uncorked Balmoral is set to return to the stunning shores of Balmoral Beach in Sydney on Sunday 19th October 2025. Uncorked Balmoral brings the region’s finest wines, spirits and gourmet produce to Sydney-sides for a day that promises incredible wine, food and fun.

The event was launched last week and has quickly built wide appeal with the opening video shared by 5,000 people and viewed over 82,000 times. So whether you’re sipping on our award-winning semillons or kicking back by the rotunda to the soulful sounds of live music, join us for a day filled with exceptional wine, mouth-watering cuisine, and fantastic company. With all your favourite Hunter Valley wineries, restaurants, and producers in one spot, it’s an experience you won’t want to miss.

Highlights include award-winning wineries, a sparkling bubbles bar, handcrafted spirits, cheese tastings and gourmet food crafted by some of the region’s best chefs. The event kicks off at 11am, with the last wine tokens sold at 4.30pm and last wine poured at 4.45pm for a 5pm finish. There will be free event shuttle buses running every 15 minutes from Mosman and Spit Junction to Balmoral Beach.

Event Program:

Wine Tasting: Discover your new favourite drop with tastings from Hunter Valley wineries and distilleries. 

Food Stalls: From charcuterie boards to sweet delights, find the perfect pairings for your wine explorations. 

Live Entertainment: Enjoy a soundtrack of live music from OZGIGS playing in the Rotunda.

Some of the Hunter Valley’s top wineries will be in circulation including 1813, Aeon Wine, Allandale Winery, Bimbadgen, Bonvilla Estate, Brokenwood Wines, Far Distilling, First Creek, Gartelmann Wines, Hungerford Hill, Keith Tulloch Wine, Margan Wine, Pokolbin Estate, Scarborough Wine Co., Thomas Wines, Tyrrell’s, Winmark Wines. Plus, meet the team from Wine Selectors who will be on hand to share some of their favourite Hunter Valley wines with you.

Enjoy local Hunter Valley producers including Twine Restaurant, Hunter Valley Cheese Factory and the Deck Café as well as a selection of other food vendors. Plus, browse Take Me Home Travel Posters’ beautiful collection of artwork that is 100% designed, printed and packaged in the Hunter Valley and enjoy some putt-put on the lawn at a fun activation by Lovedale Farm.

Festival goers can sample the region’s finest wines by purchasing a Festival Pack which includes entry, one branded tumbler and four tasting vouchers. The Festival Package can be pre-purchased before the day for $35 or on the day for $45. Purchase pre-purchase tickets also go in the draw to win one of six cases of premium Hunter Valley wines.
