The Woodhouse Wollombi Weddings

Set on sweeping manicured grounds, The Woodhouse and its grounds are a spectacular space providing a complete package for couples looking for that exclusive  'something special'.  With your own dedicated event planner, we aim to take the stress away and make sure 'your day' is done 'your way'.

One of the Hunter Valleys finest wedding venues, The Woodhouse is a  purpose built architecturally designed space for weddings and events. There is simply nothing like it in the Hunter Valley.  An elegant timber building with a rustic but refined European elegance to it. Think soaring 7m ceilings, 4m windows, freestanding fireplace, bar, huge outdoor undercover dancefloor/lounge area, outdoor firepit with integrated lounge seating and entertaining courtyard.

The Woodhouse is fitted out with a 12 speaker commercial sound and PA system with musicians able to plug straight into it. The Woodhouse itself is approved for up to 150 people for either sit down, banquet  or canape style weddings or event. Wedding guests will enjoy the delicious flavours of food created by our exclusive caterers Tess and James from Fennel & Co ensuring that your guests will rave about the food for years to come, with service second to none.

Every detail has been well thought out from the Robert Gordon black pottery plateware to the huge custom made 3.6m steel window behind the fireplace to the bespoke bar. There are a variety of beverage packages and options to suits all tastes with by consumption and 5 hour packages.  Our wine list specialises in Hunter Valley wines (naturally) and with a few out of towners. The Woodhouse has DA imposed closing time of 11.30pm at which time all music must be turned off. Sunday events have an imposed closing time of 10pm due to licensing restrictions.

Your big comes with your own dedicated wedding/event manager to make sure your event really is 'your day, you way'.

Cancellation Policy

If you wish to cancel your event, you must confirm the cancellation in writing to us.

The initial deposit of $1000 is non-refundable.

Cancellations / Change of dates 9 to 12 months prior to the event

$4000 of the total invoice will be required to be paid in lieu of the property not being able to be re-let for the same period.  Redwood Park will make every effort to re-let the property within the given time frame and if successful, will refund to the booking party all monies paid less $1000 initial deposit

Cancellations / Change of dates 6 to 9 months prior to the event

$6000 of the total invoice will be required to be paid in lieu of the property not being able to be re-let for the same period.  Redwood Park will make every effort to re-let the property within the given time frame and if successful, will refund to the booking party all monies paid less $1000 initial deposit.

Cancellation / Change of dates less than 6 months prior to the event

100% of the full invoice amount is payable.  If we are able to re-let the property for the same period, then we will refund 80% all monies paid.

Postponement Policy

Current Policy (During COVID where restrictions apply at The Woodhouse)

If you wish to postpone your date for any reason, we require 50% of the total invoice to be paid as a postponement deposit.

Restriction on postponement dates may apply during peak months being March, April, May, September, October, November, and December.

No combined Friday and Saturday night stays will be permitted for any postponed weddings.

Should you wish to postpone then any updated terms and conditions and pricing will apply for postponements greater than 12 months.

Excluding COVID

Any postponements within 6 months ( excluding COVID where we are unable to operate and no penalty applies)  is effectively a cancellation and as such the full invoice amount is payable.  If we are able to re-let the property for a wedding for the same period, then we will refund 80% of all monies paid.

Any postponements greater than 6 months but less than 10 months, 75% of all monies are payable.  If we are able to re-let the property for a wedding for the same period, then we will refund 80% of all monies paid.
