FAWK FOODS KITCHEN & BAKERY OPENS IN THE HUNTER VALLEY
Heralding what is possibly the most anticipated Hunter Valley opening of 2018, Frank Fawkner and EXP Hospitality have announced the launch of Fawk Foods Kitchen & Bakery, set to open its doors on Monday 2 July.
The bakery-come-café will be offering up a daily serving of baked goods and delicious café meals in the Hunter Valley’s picturesque town of Pokolbin, seven days a week from 7am and is set to fill a gap in the local market for accessible high quality food and drinks as well as fill the stomachs of hungry locals and Hunter Valley visitors alike.
With a focus on locally sourced products; foraged ingredients, local bacon, free range eggs and Fawk Foods’ own popular black garlic range will be featured heavily throughout the menu. For those wanting to attempt the dishes at home, a brand new range of Fawk Foods artisan products will also available be for purchase.
The launch menu will include a range of baked goods and café favourites for dine in and take away, and with the menu set to expand in coming months, Fawk Foods Kitchen & Bakery will become the only bakery in Hunter Valley Wine Country catering to wholesale and retail customers.
Café staples such as bacon and eggs, melts, toasties and soups can all be found on the menu, whilst bacon and egg rolls, banana bread, muffins and other ‘grab and go’ items available for those looking for something on-the-run, allowing visitors an opportunity to spend more time sampling wineries, exploring gardens or hot air ballooning.
The addition of this quality, accessible food option, centrally located within Australia’s oldest wine region has already engaged the Hunter Valley locals and the company's Instagram @fawkfoodskitchenbakery has been bombarded with messages confirming widespread excitement for the opening day.
Thanks to the ongoing commitment of offering local produce and warm hospitality, visitors to Fawk Foods Kitchen and Bakery are sure to receive a real taste of the Hunter.
