Hunter Valley Business Events (HVBE) is a division of Hunter Valley Wine and Tourism Association, the official wine and tourism body, that represents over 500 of the area's tourism operators.

We are dedicated to providing efficient, informative services to the conference and incentive market. By taking advantage of our local knowledge and experienced staff, you can save significant time choosing the location and/or service to best suit your needs. HVBE is your essential first point of contact when organising a conference, meeting, incentive or event of any kind in the Hunter Valley. We offer assistance with anything from sourcing the right venue to delegate boosting, pre- and post-event touring and providing invaluable local knowledge.

A SUSTAINABLE HUNTER VALLEY

Being outdoors, amongst nature, has positive impacts on wellbeing and productivity and the value of our environment is not something we take for granted in wine country.

To ensure your visit is a sustainable one select venues who use renewable energy, source local produce, utilise OzHarvest for food waste and support the Trees for Bees program.

Many of our restaurants have a farm to plate ethos, reducing their carbon footprint whilst delivering exceptional tasting produce.

You can visit wineries certified through Sustainable Winegrowers Australia to ensure natural resources are not depleted. Some wineries grow Native insectary plants amongst their vines as they provide food, shelter and “regulating” ecosystem services, which when placed adjacent to vineyards have been associated with season-long benefits involving biological suppression of pests & increased biodiversity. Lower Hunter Landcare & the Regional Hunter Landcare groups planted just over 200 native plants best adapted to the local area & vineyard. With the plan to monitor the growth of these plants and record numbers of beneficial insects to see what effects they have on this vineyard block over time.
