ENJOY A TASTE OF THE GOOD LIFE AT HUNTER VALLEY UNCORKED BALMORAL
Hunter Valley Uncorked will return to the sunny shores of Balmoral Beach in Sydney on Sunday 20th October 2019.
Held during the Festival of Mosman and presented by Wine Selectors, the event will showcase more than 20 of the Hunter Valley’s finest wineries, restaurants and producers including a distillery.
Immerse yourself in the good life and unearth the tastes, sights and stories of the Hunter Valley. Meander through the myriad of stalls and sample gourmet delights, or just sit back in the sunshine and enjoy the live music amongst that great fusion of wine, food and good company.
The Barbeque Revolution returns to Uncorked Balmoral, hosted by Wine Selectors in partnership with Everdure by Heston Blumenthal. Each session will showcase various barbecuing techniques and entertaining tips, as one of Everdure’s talented chefs creates a sumptuous summer dish on the barbecue. Each dish will be expertly paired with Hunter Valley wine.
Session times are as follows: Prawns en Papillote: 11.30 and 2.30; Smoked Lamb Shoulder: 12.30 and 3.30; and Spit Roasted Porchetta: 1.30 and 4.30. Sessions are $10 and are available directly from the Wine Selectors stall on the day.
Hunter Valley's finest drops will be in circulation with 1813 Wines, Allandale Winery, Boydell's, Briar Ridge Vineyard, Brokenwood Wines, De Iuliis Wines, Colvin Wines, Hungerford Hill, Mount Pleasant Wines, Oakvale Wines, Pepper Tree Wines, Peterson House, Tamburlaine Organic Wines, Tulloch Wines and Tyrrell's Wines. Hunter Distillery returns with an exceptional range of top shelf spirits, including vodkas, liqueurs, schnapps and the award-winning Copperwave Distilled Gin.
Local restaurants and producers serving up their mouth-watering bites include The Deck Cafe Lovedale, Oaks Cypress Lakes Bistro & Bar, Hunter Valley Cheese Factory, Hampers of the Hunter, Smokin Hot n Saucy, Bao Brothers, Bar Coco, Amsterdam Pancakes and Fat Wren Farm.
Entry is free with wine-tasting packages available from $26 to $31 per person. Guests can pre-purchase tasting packages and go in the running to win a Hunter Valley experience for two valued at over $2,100.
Uncorked Balmoral begins at 11am, with last wines poured at 4.45pm.
There will be free event shuttle buses running every 15 minutes from Mosman and Spit Junction to Balmoral Beach. Hunter Valley Uncorked Balmoral is supported by Mosman Council.
