Spring School Holidays at HVG

Spring is the perfect time to get outside and enjoy a day of family fun.

From 26 September to 11 October, the Gardens will come alive with a colourful program of spring-inspired activities, hands-on experiences and entertainment for the whole family. Step into the Butterfly House, meet the baby lambs, make daisy chains, create lanterns, try your hand at painting and discover the art of bonsai.

There’s plenty more to explore throughout the Gardens, including bee demonstrations, candle-making, henna, cultural talks, guided tours and a special display of model sail boats on 3 and 4 October. Little ones can also enjoy a selection of classic rides, including the Ferris Wheel, Carousel, Tea Cups, Swing Chair and Superslide.

Take your time wandering through the beautiful gardens, stop for a bite to eat at the Garden Terrace Café and soak up the colours and beauty of spring. On weekends, guests can pre-purchase an HVG Spring Hamper and find a favourite spot to soak up the beauty of the season.

With activities happening across the Gardens from 26 September to 11 October, there’s plenty to see, make and discover on your next family day out.

Gardens open daily from 9am–5pm, with last entry at 4pm. Activities and workshops are first-come, first-served with limited places, so arriving early is recommended.

Plan your spring school holiday adventure at Hunter Valley Gardens and make a day of it!
