You will be only a short drive from wedding venues such as Petersons, Lovedale Wedding Chapel, Wandin and Moravia Park. All feature luxury bedding and modern décor, fans and ducted air-conditioning. Three bedrooms boast en-suites, while the additional bathroom features a spa bath; plus, there is a further powder room available.

The well-equipped, open plan country kitchen has everything a keen cook would need including a Nespresso coffee machine for your essential brew. The kitchen flows directly into a games room with Smart TV and a pool table; this adjoins the very spacious dining and lounge rooms with lush linen sofas to catch up on your next chapter, or tell stories by the heart-warming combustion fireplace in the winter months.

Sit back and enjoy the expansive rural vistas through the picture frame windows or grab a glass of fine Hunter wine and find your spot on the gorgeous wrap-around veranda, perfect for a BBQ or some alfresco dining to enjoy all the lovely produce you’ve collected on a day of touring in wine country. GUEST NOTE: Black Creek Paddock is a private home approved to host accommodation guests registered with Hunter Valley Stays only and is not a venue for events, functions or vendors.

SECURITY & ONSITE MANAGER: As with many pastural properties and farm stays in the Hunter Valley, security surveillance cameras are present to monitor the exterior of the property at all times. The pastural manager lives on the property full time and has a residence located at the rear of the barn 70 metres from the guest accommodation. Both guests and manager share the main driveway entrance access but are accommodated separately.

GUEST SAFETY: Children must be supervised at all times when onsite due to the adjacent creek and four dams on the property’s grazing land. We ask that guests please keep to the house paddock and do not for any reason, enter or drive on the property’s acreages as animals may be grazing.

FIREPLACES & FIRE PITS: Please note the fireplace is available between April and October and firewood is supplied only during these months. No other fires are permitted to be lit on the property at any time due to rural fire hazards.

TARIFFS WEEKEND RATES (2 nights) (Thu-Fri or Fri-Sat or Sat-Sun) Weekend - minimum 2 nights for up to 6 guests (adults or children) $780 per nightMidweek - minimum 2 nights for up to 6 guests (adults or children) $585 per night Extra adults are charged at $100 per person per night Children aged 2-12 are charged at $60 per child per night Infants under 2 are free.

SECURITY DEPOSIT: A security deposit/bond of $1000.00 is required for your stay and is payable as a credit card pre- authorisation. This will be processed approximately 24 - 48 hours before your arrival, so please ensure the funds are available at this time.

MIDWEEK BOOKINGS & LONGER STAYS: Please contact us for a quote. Discounts are available on midweek stays and longer stays of 4 nights and over.

NOTES: One-night stays are available midweek. Weekend one-night stays may be available but will attract a surcharge. Weekend Public Holiday bookings must a minimum 3-night stay at full weekend rate. Easter, Christmas and New Year are a 3 night stay and charged at full weekend rate. Concert weekends and Special Events must be a minimum of 8 guests and surcharges may apply.

Travelling on the Hunter Expressway take the Lovedale Rd exit and from the roundabout, turn onto Lovedale Rd towards Cessnock. Continue along Lovedale Road for approx 6km and the property will be on the right hand side just before Hunter Valley Hot Air Ballooning. Turn right onto Green Lane and drive for approx 1km to the end.  The property is the last house at the end of Green Lane.
