Function RoomSitting in the middle of the property, Greystone Estate’s newly constructed Event space Function room seats up to 110 guests in a fully air-conditioned spectacular space complete with bar, caterer’s kitchen and 5 bathrooms, perfect for your wedding or corporate event. The space is filled with natural light looking out onto manicured gardens, with 3 feature chandeliers, soft hidden mood lighting and an internal and external fireplace. A large automatic power generator will also ensure that your event can continue uninterrupted in the event of a power outage. A cool room is also available for storage of your event beverages. Open Air PavilionWith its striking modern appearance, you will be blown away with the beauty of the Chapel. Inlaid brass floors and soft lighting and the natural beauty of the gardens complete this beautiful space. Winding concrete pathways seamlessly connect all buildings onsite, ensuring an easy and effortless walk down the aisle for any bridal parties. All pathways have lighting of an evening and the beautiful, manicured gardens and large gum trees have up-lighting to create a spectacular backdrop for your event.

Accommodation With your guest’s comfort in mind, no detail has been left unturned at Greystone Estate. Your guests can enjoy not only their luxurious air-conditioned suite with plush bedding but also the large open plan living, dining and entertaining and lounge areas including a stunning fireplace, TV’s, high speed Starlink wifi internet for your use throughout your stay, huge semi-commercial kitchen, sparkling pool and BBQ area. The barn-sized games room holds a pool table as well as a bar with large screen TV’s ideal for sports fans or cinema nights.

Greystone Estate’s main house is the heart of this property, which has been custom designed with room for all 32 guests to truly enjoy their stay. From the moment you walk through the large entrance doors and into the reception area the features, design and style will impress you. The Main house accommodates 14 guests in 7 stunning suites and 7.5 bathrooms (including a powder room). Its sophisticated and large living and dining spaces are light filled and feature packed, providing a sense of relaxed luxury. There is plenty of space for all your guests to dine and relax before and after your event.

Greystone’s kitchen is spiced up to the highest specs, providing guests with the ease of a semi-commercial kitchen with a luxury fit out. Voluminous double fridges, two dishwashers, dual sinks, two ovens and coffee machine, makes your stay a breeze. Greystone Estates private chefs, exclusively from Hunter Concierge, make catering a memorable occasion, you’ll want for nothing. There’s even a walk-in pantry for your butler!

The living room features sumptuous leather lounges and individual chairs, so you’ll be hard pressed to decide which is your favourite spot; in front of the stunning gas fireplace to relax with family and friends, share a movie, or present to a group on the two wall-mounted large screen TV’s. The dining and living room areas open out onto a deep terrace with outdoor dining tables to enjoy the views across the property to the dam - perfect for a memorable luncheon experience to let the afternoon slip way with a fine glass of Hunter wine in hand, whilst enjoying magnificent sunset views. Cottage One + TwoThese are no ordinary cottages, with soaring cathedral ceilings and striking, jet black signature walls, all set against crisp white tongue-and-groove panelling, which add a sense of drama and instantly transports you into holiday mode. These two-level cottages accommodate 5 guests each, with two beautiful bathrooms per cottage. Downstairs, guests will enjoy a large living and dining area with large TV, kitchenette, bedroom and bathroom with shower. Upstairs can accommodate 3 guests in a large loft room with en-suite. Fully air-conditioned with luxury fittings makes these cottages “two” in a million. Gow House Originally an iconic family residence in Merewether, this heritage house has journeyed to the Hunter Valley and now stands in pride of place as a jewel on the grounds of Greystone Estate. This gracious historic house has been lovingly restored and revived to a new glory, whilst retaining its true character with high metal pressed ceilings, deep verandahs and wrought iron features. Accommodating 8 guests in 4 king (split) bedrooms (3 with en-suite), each with individual décor and hand selected pieces, makes staying a unique experience – you’ll be fighting over who sleeps here! This building also has a disabled bedroom and bathroom with direct disabled access. Pool & BBQ AreaFor your guests the stunning pool area and surrounds is perfect for your guests to relax and cool off during your stay. The BBQ space is fully equipped with outdoor fridge, sink, dishwasher plus two outdoor powder rooms. Central to the Estate and adjacent to the main house, the pool and BBQ area are perfect for those hot summer days relaxing on the poolside lounges. The ShedThe property’s games room is no ordinary shed. Custom designed with entertainment for all in mind, guests of all ages will enjoy a pool table, table tennis, large TV screens, Netflix, KAYO Sport and a bar with tables and chairs. Its playful interior is entertainment ‘to the max’. Rustic corrugated iron and recycled timber features compliment giant barn doors that slide open on one side of the barn to take in the property views. It’s also the perfect place for a corporate tournament, team building games or indoor wellness and yoga workshops and offers two convenient powder rooms. GardenGreystone Estate is set on 10 park-like acres of beautifully manicured lawns and gardens, designed for visual appeal. By day guests can wander the grounds and enjoy the beautiful gardens or take a seat by the dam and enjoy the sunshine. And in the evening illuminated pathways allow guests to enjoy the night-time ambiance as well as an easy strolls from The Residence to their accommodation whilst taking in the visual beauty of the trees up lit at night. Whitevale Estate Please ask us about booking our beautiful sister property Whitevale Estate in Lovedale. It is just as luxurious as Greystone and is the perfect place for some of your guests, Grooms/Grandparents to stay for your event. If booking the same time, you’ll receive one complimentary return transfer between the two properties, or you can go all out and fly them in via helicopter (fees apply). Whitevale Estate is a 7-bedroom, 6 bathroom property sleeping 18 guests.

Travelling on the Hunter Expressway continue to the end which becomes the New England Highway heading towards Singleton. Travel for approx. 3km to the Hermitage Rd turn off, on the left hand side. Proceed along Hermitage Rd for approximately 5.5kms and you will see Greystone Estate Signage on your left hand side. Turn into driveway. Follow the olive tree lined avenue to arrive at Cottage 1, there is parking indicated to the left of the main house and further access to Cottage 2 beyond the carpark by a continued driveway. We would appreciate if parking spaces were utilised and cars and vehicles are not parked on the grass.
