Milbrodale Farm

Accommodation Milbrodale

Description

Description

Milbrodale Farm is the incarnation of a lifelong dream and the combined determination of Lizzie and Brodie.

Lizzie was born in Bluff and raised in Invercargill, on the South Island of New Zealand. Brodie was born in the African bush and fate brought them together.

Just as fate played a pinnacle role in bringing these two souls together, it also brought them to Milbrodale Farm – well, fate and night after night of Lizzie scouring the real estate pages on the internet – but finally, Milbrodale Farm became a reality and the rest, is history in the making.

THE SHED HOUSE

Nestled in a grove of mature ironbark trees, shielded from the prevailing winds and overlooking the vines and olive grove, is your home away from home, the shed house.

Called the Shed House because only a few years ago, this WAS the shed. The place where tractors, farm equipment, and maturing wine was stored, but, like a good wine, the shed house has matured into an architecturally designed, modern yet cozy oasis in the Milbrodale countryside.

  • Featuring a modern kitchen, with every convenience, - dishwasher, fridge/freezer, gas cooktop, electric oven, timber bench tops, soft close drawers and unique storage solutions, this kitchen will inspire you to bring out the culinary artist hiding within.
  • Open plan living areas, combined with double insulated, polycarbonate window sheeting allow ample natural light to filter through the house, the bespoke design negating the need for curtains as privacy is maintained by extreme attention to detail in the design phase.
  • Reverse cycle air-conditioning in the main living area ensure year-round comfort regardless of the weather outside - there is also a gas heater for a more intimate experience should this be desired.
  • Two comfortably sized, adjacent bedrooms provide a quiet comfortable nights rest and in the morning, the polycarbonate panels allow you to rise with the sun and make the most of your weekend in the wineries.
  • The bathroom is quaint and functional, with a generously sized shower, washbasin, and WC.
