Hunter Valley Stays is proud to present Allawah Estate - Hunter Valley’s newest, large group accommodation offering in Lovedale located 2.5 hours north of Sydney and forty-minute drive from Newcastle Airport. True to its name, Allawah, meaning ‘make your abode here’, comprises of a main house and guest wing, located 15 metres from the main house, together accommodating up to 22 guests within 11 luxurious bedrooms, 7 bathrooms, 2 enormous living and dining rooms, two chef’s kitchen along with extensive entertaining areas. Centrally located on Lovedale Road and opposite Leaves & Fishes and The Deck Café, guests will enjoy only a short drive to Hunter Valley Gardens and moments from concert venues such as Hope and Roche Estates, cellar doors Gartleman, Allandale and Capercaillie Wines as well as wedding venues such as Wandin Valley, Petersons, Moravia Park, Dark Horse, and the Lovedale Chapel. Allawah Estate will easily become a favourite midweek or weekend holiday destination or, an ideal location to host your small business conference or retreat.

Guest comfort is complete at any time of the year with air-conditioning and fans throughout, and in the cooler months there’s no resisting the charm of the granite gas fireplace in the upper level living room, perfect to cosy up next to with a fine bottle of Hunter Valley red and a selection of local artisan cheese collected from a day of touring and tasting.

Both Allawah’s indoor and outdoor dining tables effortlessly seat 22 friends and family, and the contemporary chef’s kitchen, with an enormous prep bench and all the mod cons, is a dream to cater from. We also know that sometimes cooking for a crowd is not part of your holiday plan so why not spoil yourself and arrange with Hunter Concierge for one of our talented Private Chef’s to take care of all the catering needs on one of the nights, and the next night, wander down the treelined drive and across the road to Leaves & Fishes for a seriously delicious Asian-inspired meal.

Entertainment is a huge part of Allawah’s guest offering, with a massive indoor games zone created for big and little kids, including a large flat screen TV to enjoy your favourite movies or sports, a custom timber pool table, table tennis, piano and fun games station full of giant games, books and board games. And for those who like to be outdoors, grab the cricket bat and enjoy a game in the backyard or a fun game of Bocce.

Security cameras are commonplace at many of our rural properties. Footage is private and remains the property of the owner, and will only be used for insurance liability reasons, to monitor occupancy and other policies noted in our Terms & Conditions. They, in no way, are there to infringe upon the expectation of privacy of guests in these exterior areas. To disable or obscure the cameras is prohibited and may result in loss of security deposit or eviction.

Please note that a $40.00 booking fee is applicable for all bookings made.

Please note if Sunday check in then an additional $550 weekend cleaning charge will be applied to your booking.

SECURITY DEPOSIT:A security deposit/bond of $3000 is required for your stay and is payable as a credit card pre-authorisation. This will be processed approximately 24 - 48 hours before your arrival, so please ensure the funds are available at this time.

CATERING and IN HOUSE CHEFS:All in-house chefs and caterers to Allawah Estate are exclusively provided and managed by our partners Hunter Concierge on-site.
