CELLAR DOOR:
Saltire Estate was born in 2006 when the Leslie family acquired land that was originally part of the much larger George Hunter Estate established by the Sydney restauranteur, Oliver Shaul in the 1970s. The Semillon, Chardonnay, Shiraz and Merlot vines are all that remain of the 500 acre estate.
Owned by an Australian/Scottish family, Saltire Estate welcomes ex-pats, Outlander fans and lovers of fine wine each weekend where they specialise in fun, fresh and informative tastings inside an industrial winemaking facility, overlooking stunning vines and olive trees.

Please note we do not accommodate hens, bucks or birthday parties. Cancellations made 24 hours prior to the scheduled booking time will receive a full refund. Take the Lovedale Exit off the Hunter Expressway. Head straight through the roundabout and take your second right hand turn onto Wilderness Road. Saltire Estate lies just 1km down Wilderness Road. Look for the Scottish flags proudly flying at the gates!
