Together, the Hunter Valley Wine & Tourism Association (HVWTA) and Hunter Valley Visitor Information Centre (VIC) are excited to launch the brand-new Joint Tourism Service.
This will provide our region with a reinvigorated, stronger, and seamless destination marketing and in-destination visitor information service under the Joint Tourism Service Agreement. This new model brings about an enormous opportunity for our region, you as members, the industry at large and of course the visitors we all rely on.
The Hunter Valley Wine and Tourism Association (HVWTA) is a ‘not-for-profit’ membership-based wine and tourism incorporated body, dedicated to ensuring the Hunter Valley is the most visited wine and tourism destination and that our wines are recognised an valued, domestically and internationally.
The HVWTA is responsible for destination and wine marketing, advocacy, technical and business support for all facets of the Hunter Valley wine and tourism industries from viticulture through to winemaking and tourism and wine promotion.
The VIC is responsible for providing a first class, best practice visitor information experience. The VIC provide Level 1 accredited visitor information relating to accommodation, attractions and experiences for the Hunter Valley.
Our Mission is to be the focus of excellence within Australian wine quality and wine related tourism. The Association is committed to working with our corporate, strategic and industry partners to market the destination, its unique features and its quality wines.

To participate in these activities you must first become a member of HVWTA & VIC.
As a member of HVWTA & VIC your business can be promoted through various marketing mediums that increase your company’s reach, these marketing mediums include both digital and print.
You can also increase your advertising frequency and leverage from a broader base of distribution by being part of the Hunter Valley Visitors Guide which includes the Hunter Valley Wine Country Map and HVWTA’s website winecountry.com.au.
