One of the biggest Hunter Valley wedding open days returns for its second year on Sunday 18th January 2026. The Hunter Valley is opening over 50 wedding venues, accommodation properties and pre and post wedding experience for people to view and tour on the same day. It’s a wedding open day like no other.
This is a unique opportunity to tour an impressive range of Hunter Valley wedding venues, accommodation options, and pre and post wedding experiences in the Hunter Valley, a destination renowned for its breathtaking landscapes, premium wines, and stunning wedding venues. Hunter Valley Say I Do is free to attend and gives visitors exclusive access to visit and explore all the finest wedding spots the Hunter Valley has to offer, all in the convenience of one day.
Organised by the Hunter Valley Wine and Tourism Association, the event is designed to make wedding planning effortless and enjoyable. Imagine an entire day devoted to envisioning your dream wedding: attendees will have the freedom to preview and tour vineyards, elegant European-Inspired properties, stone chapels, resorts, short stay accommodation, meet wedding and event managers to turn their big day into an unforgettable celebration. Attendees will also have the opportunity to meet with local suppliers at venues, with multiple venues showcasing suppliers they work with
The day welcomes anyone dreaming up a wedding, vow renewal or milestone celebration, offering venues that cater from grand celebrations to micro-weddings. Building on the strong success and positive feedback from last year, the region is excited to welcome a new wave of couples ready to plan their Hunter Valley celebration.
