Mahony Estate Wines

The Mahony Estate vineyard lies in the picturesque Broke Fordwich sub-region of the Hunter Valley. Established in 1993, the vine roots have had plenty of time to penetrate deep into the soil allowing them to extract the nutrients and water that are required by healthy vines. Consisting of both classic Hunter Valley and Italian varieties, Mahony Estate’s hillside position and soils provide optimum conditions for achieving full flavour ripeness.

At Mahony Estate our winemaking philosophy is driven by a desire to allow the wine to express its natural character. Winemaking processes utilise traditional techniques that guide the wine through a natural evolution. Each wine displays its own personality teased out with passion and attention to detail.

At the Cellar Door, you are surrounded by vineyards that follow the contours of the Broken Back Range and stretch down to the Wollombi Brook below. Taste the range of Mahony Estate wines or enjoy a glass while relaxing in our peaceful environment.
