Margan Wines & Margan Restaurant

Tours & Activities Broke

Margan premium Hunter Valley wines are estate-grown estate-made, and styled to be enjoyed upon release. This is achieved by careful vineyard management, which allows the grapes to be picked at optimal ripeness. In the winery the fruit is handled with care, without over working. Oak is used with discretion- enough to add complexity but never to over-power the wine. Margan wines are characterised by being well structured and balanced but never too tannic or oakey. This means that the wines don't have to be cellared for a specified time before they become approachable. Having said that, the wines are made to last so that they will enjoy the benefits that bottle ageing can bring.

The stunning rammed earth Margan Restaurant, Cellar Door and Winery is situated in the picturesque village of Broke and provides guests with the complete food and wine experience. Enjoy seasonally inspired fare featuring locally sourced produce including fruit and vegetables from the Margan one-acre Kitchen Garden and Orchard..
