Locavore Dining at Sebel Kirkton Park Hunter Valley

Fine Dining Pokolbin

Description

Hours: Opening hours are 6:00pm - 9:00pm, 7 days a week.

Description

At Locavore Dining we have designed a menu that is ever-changing based on seasonal produce from our very own grounds and the local community. Using all parts of the seafood, poultry, herbs, vegetables, fruits and beef farmed at Kirkton Park, gives us an understanding of the quality of care taken with our produce. The team at Kirkton Park has a vision to make local Hunter Valley producers and their ingredient's the heroes of Locavore Dining and to create a real foodie destination, the place for every visitor and local guest to enjoy a part of our rich heritage.

Many foods these days are well travelled. Often foods which COULD be sourced locally have come from overseas or further out of the area.

A Locavore is a person interested in eating food that is locally produced, not moved long distances to market. One common - but not universal - definition of "local" food is food grown withing 100 miles (160km) of its point of purchase or consumption.

Executive Chef Trent Webber invites you to join us as we embark on a new venture to leave as light an environmental footprint as possible, while still staying true to our authentic regional location.
