Prepare a media release. Tourism Australia has a great resource on how to write a media release.

Distribute your media release to local media and the HVWTA. Make sure you include high res imagery. The HVWTA will add to their media section of website.
- Add the event to your website and make it accessible from your homepage.

Create a Facebook Event. Make sure that you send a co-host request to Hunter Valley Wine Country Facebook page so that your events appear on our Facebook page. All members of the HVWTA have access to adding event listings to our website. Our regional website has attracted over 350,000 visits (YTD) with the events section in the Top 3 landing pages on our website. Add your event to visitnsw.com via Get Connected. The service is FREE for NSW businesses. Destination NSW’s consumer sites attract more than 24 million visits per year.

Do you have a ticketed event? StickyTickets and EventBrite are great low cost ticketing sites that can be added to your Facebook event and website.
Eventbrite integrates with Facebook with an end to end checkout. This allows users to purchase tickets within the Facebook app and activates a 'Get Tickets' button on your event, increasing pre-sale revenue.
