Established in 1893, Oakvale Wines, one of the oldest working wineries in the Hunter Valley. Family owned and operated, our Winery and Cellar door nestle serenely at the base of the Brokenback Range. It is here that our passion to produce quality wine from the best regional grapes inspires us to produce stunning, award-winning wines.
Oakvale is a tranquil and welcoming place. Rolling lawns and gardens provide a sanctuary in which to relax and enjoy a glass of wine, whilst the original Old Slab Cottage, at the rear of the property, displays many unique items from retail shops in the early 1900's.
Having shaped the history of Hunter winemaking for nearly 120 years, today traditional winemaking techniques are married with more modern methods and vigilant, hands-on viticultural practices to ensure that Oakvale will continue to earn it's place as a 'must visit' winery long into the future.
