Home of the Hunter Valley's 2011 Winemaker of the Year and one of the Hunter's most awarded wineries of recent years, First Creek Wines evolved as the label of Australia’s most successful contract winemaking businesses. It started during a long lunch between four winemakers: a parcel of land in the heart of the Hunter Valley – Australia’s oldest and most awarded wine region – with First Creek as its northern border, was chosen for a large, modern winery and bottling facility to produce premium table wine.
First Creek has been built around a unique depth of winemaking talent. These days, Liz Jackson, Damien Stevens & Greg Silkman lead a team of young winemakers with a passion for wine who aspire to transform the best fruit characteristics into premium varietal wine styles.

First Creek is located in the heart of Pokolbin wine country. Travelling from Cessnock along Wine Country Drive, turn left onto Broke Road, then right onto McDonalds Road. First Creek is about 1km down the road, on your right, opposite Il Cacciatore restaurant.
