Margan Family Wines was established in 1997 by husband and wife team Lisa and Andrew Margan, and are proud to be considered a leading Hunter Valley and Australian boutique wine producer. Margan is based in the picturesque valley of Broke and boasts over 300 acres of old, established vineyards as well as a state of the art winery. Winemaker Andrew Margan handcrafts single vineyard wines, which are true reflections of their variety and their region.

The Margan range of wines is proudly all Hunter Valley estate grown - estate made, and production averages 35,000 cases per annum with distribution within Australia and to over a dozen export destinations. Over the last 15 years, the wines have developed a loyal following among wine lovers and critics alike, as well as being awarded 16 major trophies in National and International wine shows.

Visitors to the stunning new tasting room and restaurant in the tranquil, rural setting of Broke are treated to the complete food and wine experience. The tasting room offers latest release and museum Margan wines for sampling and sales, served by friendly and knowledgeable staff.  Restaurateur and chef Lisa Margan and her experienced restaurant team create seasonally inspired food, sourced from local producers as well as from the extensive one-acre Margan kitchen garden.

The Margan Barrel Hall, adjacent to Margan Restaurant, is a very popular venue for weddings and functions, while the attractive entrance courtyard featuring antique French gates and stylish designer screens, adds an additional dimension for cocktail functions.
