IronBark Hill Vineyard was first planted in the late 1980s and is located on picturesque Hermitage Road in the renowned Pokolbin wine growing region. IronBark Hill Vineyard offers premium individual vineyard estate grown wines produced by one of the most recognisable families in the Hunter Valley.
The owners of IronBark Hill Vineyard are Peter & Leesa Drayton, and Michael & Julie Dillon.
THE WINES …
IronBark Hill produces predominately Shiraz and Chardonnay and is expanding Semillon planting to meet market demand for the Hunter’s flagship variety. Additionally, there are also Verdelho, Cabernet Sauvignon, Tyrian, Merlot as well Sparkling and Port varieties. With over 30 hectares under vine, IronBark Hill is a successful boutique vineyard which prides itself on its personal friendly touch.
THE VENUE …
A spectacular sandstone fireplace combined with contemporary design and the rustic charm of the vineyards that creates a special warmth and ambience to ensure your visit is a memorable one. Taste our premium wines in Cellar Door or relax with a coffee on the lounge. Our function facility can cater up to 130 guests and is the perfect backdrop to your next conference, celebration or special occasion. Stay the whole weekend in our accommodation that can sleep 14 people in complete luxury.
