The Gate Gallery

The Gate Gallery houses a gallery, stockroom and a large exhibition space for temporary exhibitions. The stockroom and exhibition program of the Gate Gallery reflect Willem and Caroline's interest in contemporary artwork produced in any genre, movement or style since 1980. They are particularly focused on abstract art and Australian indigenous art, with an extensive stock room of Australian (both indigenous and non-indigenous), Dutch and Hungarian contemporary works and offer a diverse and exciting exhibition program.

The Gate Gallery Collection has been developed over the last twenty-five years and is expected to continue expanding. This collection consists of paintings, drawings, original prints and sculptures that have been acquired through purchase or gift and can be viewed by appointment.
