Skydive the Hunter Valley is based at Australia's oldest and most established skydiving club in the heart of the gorgeous Hunter Valley region.
Whether it's your first time (or your fifth), tandem skydiving is the ideal way to experience the ultimate thrill of freefall. No experience is necessary and almost anyone can do it!
When you're ready, the scenic plane ride showcases the Hunter Valley's beauty and diversity as your anticipation builds.
Securely attached to a professional tandem instructor, you exit the plane for over 60 seconds of life-changing freefall. It's your job to smile, scream, wave, and take in the incredible Hunter Valley views up to 14,000ft over the vineyards. If you choose to, your star performance is captured on an action-packed DVD and close-up photos.
You'll soar serenely with the birds under the parachute for over 5 minutes, taking control of the steering if you're game, until your instructor brings you in for the landing. Afterwards your 'skydive grin' gives you away as you explore the cellar doors and sample the local cuisine that the Hunter Valley has to offer.
To have conquered the skies and pushed your own personal boundaries is a remarkable feeling. It is an experience that you will never forget!
Directions:
After just leaving Branxton (heading towards Maitland), turn left on to Elderslie Road. Follow Elderslie Road for 9km, and cross a bridge over the Hunter River. Approx 400m later, turn left to continue on to Elderslie Road. Drive for approx 400m until you see the Parachute Club sign. Turn right into Moores Lane. Drive for approximately 200m and you will see Skydive the Hunter Valley on the left. Now it's time to go skydiving!
