We only record PII and other information that we reasonably require to do business with you.

Your full name, address, email address and phone number are taken each time you make a booking with www.winecountry.com.au.

Hunter Valley Wine Country Tourism Inc collects PII such as your full name, address, email address and/or telephone number whenever you submit a query or suggestion, or request assistance with a booking.
- Request a publication/Sign up to our newsletter
Your full name, address and e-mail address are taken each time you make a request for a publication or subscribe to our monthly newsletter.
How We Use Your Information
Hunter Valley Wine Country Tourism Inc uses your PII only for the purpose of responding to and fulfilling your requests for our products and services. Information collected on www.winecountry.com.au may be used to:
· Purchase Hunter Valley Wine Country Tourism Inc products or services
Information collected when you purchase from www.winecountry.com.au is used to charge your credit card and deliver your booking confirmation electronically. We may also contact you about your stay for customer service purposes or to make any changes or cancellations to your booking.
· Provide you with the requested publications and/or online newsletter.
· Respond to your questions or suggestions
We will use your address, email address and/or telephone number to contact you when you submit a question or suggestion.
Who We Share Your Information With
HVWCT only permits authorized personnel to access your personal information. HVWCT does not sell, rent, trade or otherwise supply third parties any personal information obtained from you in the process of requesting publications or newsletter subscription.
Hunter Valley Wine Country Tourism Inc does not disclose any information about customer bookings to anyone except in the following circumstances:
• Accommodation suppliers
Hunter Valley Wine Country Tourism Inc provides the guest name, telephone number, address and email address for each booking made to the relevant accommodation supplier. Our accommodation suppliers require this information for the booking and if they need to contact you about the booking. Although Hunter Valley Wine Country Tourism Inc offers accommodation from reputable accommodation suppliers, we have not placed specific limitations on these suppliers from using or disclosing your information without your permission. Therefore, we encourage you to review the privacy policies of any suppliers whose accommodation you purchase on www.winecountry.com.au.
• Legal obligations
Hunter Valley Wine Country Tourism Inc may be required by law to disclose information provided by you to www.winecountry.com.au for the purposes of obtaining products or services from www.winecountry.com.au. Hunter Valley Wine Country Tourism Inc may also disclose information against someone who poses a threat to Hunter Valley Wine Country Tourism Inc’s interests (such as customer fraud) or whose activities could cause harm to others.

If at anytime you would like to alter the PII you provided to www.winecountry.com.au in your booking, please contact us.

If at anytime you wish to enquire about any of your PII that is stored by www.winecountry.com.au please contact us.

VALIDITY OF RATES
All prices listed on this website are in Australian Dollars (AUD$), please refer to the Currency Converter on the Accommodation search page for the price in your local currency.
Accommodation costs are for room only and do not include transfer or breakfast cost unless otherwise stated. Prices are inclusive of the Australian Goods and Services Tax. Prices over accommodation block out periods may alter from the prices advertised. Contact us for further details.
Deposits. Payment is due within 72 hours of receiving written confirmation from Visitor Centre. Please proceed to our "Secure Payment" form to submit credit card details.
CANCELLATION POLICY
Hunter Valley Wine Country Tourism reserves the right to charge an administration fee of $25.00 for any cancellation or amendment made by the client over and above the operators' own cancellation policy. Please check tariff on receipt. A refund may only be made with consent of the proprietor. Cancellation charges apply. The value shown represents the amount which the centre has collected for accommodation and/or tours. Any addition arising from an increase in tariff and/or services must be paid to the operator. Last minute specials made on the standby rate are non refundable.
- Cancellations outside of 14 days from the arrival date will receive 100% refund.
- Cancellations within 14 days of the arrival date will incur an operator cancellation fee of 50% of the total booking if the accommodation is not re-let. If the accommodatio is re-let, the refund will be received directly from the operator.
- Cancellations within 48 hours (after 2pm) will receive no refund.
TOURS
These operators reserve the right to alter itineraries at any time as a result of fire, flood, extreme weather conditions or any other circumstance beyond their control.
SECURE PAY
BookEasy™ Secure Payment Gateway is provided using SecurePay SecureBill Product. SecureBill uses high security levels, which are standard for Internet banking and large scale e-commerce sites and involve the use of 128-bit encryption. You can check the security level of a web page by clicking on your Internet browsers padlock or key icon. Encryption is the standard way of protecting your information as it is transmitted between you and SecurePay. This involves converting the information into an unreadable code using a "key" (and also decoding it using this "key"). The longer the key, the more difficult it is for others to break the encrypted codes.
