Skydive the Hunter Valley celebrates one year of getting high in the vines!

Skydive the Hunter Valley are celebrating one year of operating in the heart of the Hunter Valley region by giving away a FREE tandem skydive and $300 voucher to the award-winning Shakey Tables restaurant.

The prize is valued at $619 with punters simply having to “like” Skydive the Hunter Valley on Facebook and complete the entry form telling who their dream skydive and dinner date would be and why.

Courtney Butler of Skydive the Hunter Valley said the competition was a fabulous way to celebrate 12 months operating in the region. “We have experienced a tremendous response from locals and travellers alike who have all come to experience the thrill of freefall 14,000ft high above wine country”, she said.

“This is the perfect opportunity for us to celebrate a successful first year of operation. We have thoroughly enjoyed partnering with other local operators and tourism bodies to help bring this unique experience to the community in such an idyllic setting”.

Located at the Newcastle Sport Parachute Club – Australia’s oldest and most established skydiving club – Skydive the Hunter Valley tandem skydive from 14,000ft, Australia’s highest jump altitude. Attached to an experienced professional, customers experience the ultimate thrill…freefalling towards earth at over 200km/hr for up to an insane 60 seconds. Customers then float under the parachute for up to 7 minutes, taking in spectacular views of the sprawling vineyards, Hunter River, National Parks and further afield to the Central Coast.

Skydive the Hunter Valley is an expansion of Skydive the Beach Sydney based in Wollongong, NSW.
