Win three all expenses paid trips to the Hunter Valley!

We have just launched an exciting new competition in partnership with Yahoo!7, to find three ambassador bloggers that will each win three all expenses paid trips to the Hunter Valley, Australia’s oldest wine region. The visits will be throughout the coming year and will see the three bloggers uncover our region’s little known secrets live online.

The competition is set to unveil all the Hunter Valley’s best kept secrets to consumers through blog entries, tweets and Facebook updates about each blogger’s experiences.

The winners and their guests will experience incredibly unique weekends away, and will attend different events and festivals such as the Hunter Valley Wine and Food Month and Hunter Valley Uncorked as VIPs.

“We are so excited about launching this new initiative; it will uncover a region that has so much history, and a destination that is modern yet so rich in culture, with experiences you never thought you could have,” Dean Gorddard said, Executive Manager of Hunter Valley Wine Country Tourism.

“Our winning blogger ambassadors will each post their experiences via a blog and other social media platforms during and after each of their trips to the Hunter Valley, with an aim to inspire their audiences to step in their shoes and enjoy our destination.”

To win one of three prizes valued at over $5,000, competition entrants will need to submit a sample 250 word blog about an experience they have had in the Hunter Valley, or if they haven’t visited the region before, they can write about why they want to discover Hunter Valley’s best kept secrets.

Those who aren’t into blogging, never fear! A second competition will be launched in a month to win an all expenses paid trip for two to the Hunter Valley to experience its best gems and follow in the footsteps of the destination’s new ambassadors.
