Hunter Valley hosts its first big balloon fiesta

Australia’s most established hot air balloon business, Balloon Aloft, will top-off year-long 30th birthday celebrations with a big balloon bonanza in the Hunter Valley!

As it is a long weekend bookings are at a premium – for accommodation and as passengers on the 30 balloons.

Organiser, Matthew Scaife of Balloon Aloft, said within even a week of sending out this suggestion to balloonists around Australia it was apparent it was welcome and warmly received.   ‘From the Hunter Valley hospitality community to our colleagues around the country the response has been fantastic,’ he said.

Pilots and passengers of the Balloon Aloft Hunter Valley Fiesta - October 2 and 3 - will enjoy a special breakfast at Peterson’s Champagne House after the flight.  The festivities will flourish as photos are shown-off and flight experiences compared.

Anyone who loves the thrill of flight already knows that gliding over vineyards and native bush at this height is a special memory.   Award winning Balloon Aloft has provided this experience for thousands of travellers.
