Over 350 of NSW top suppliers celebrated their amazing achievements in the Bridal Industry, at Dockside Darling Harbour on Monday 13th December 2010. It was a spectacular evening in Sydney, the sun was shining over the harbour, as this year's finalists sipped their cocktails and prepared themselves for the much anticipated wait for their category to be called out and the winner of the 2010 ABIA Award revealed.
This year we had a special Christmas theme for the Awards and invited our guests to Shine in Silver & Gold! Silver of course represents the Finalist Awards & Gold represents the Winners Awards. The room was decorated beautifully with Silver & Gold chair sashes courtesy of Events by Nadia and Sally from the Dockside Group delivered our Christmas fantasy tables with amazing candelabra and baubles in sparkling silver & glittering gold.
The evening kicked off with a performance by The Hayley Sales Trio and then after a short welcome and introduction by Chairman John O'Meara the Awards were underway, presented by MC for the evening Peter Miller.
There were 41 categories and 400 finalists battling it out for this year's ABIA, as determined by the over 7,700 bridal ratings.
The Hunter Valley Wedding industry was well represented on the night and we congratulate the following four operators named finalist and all score outstandingly well given the competition this year was fierce with the closest Winners & Runners up being separated by only 00.01 in the some categories.
