The Arty Tarty Christmas Party opened in December 2010 with a fabulous gathering of over 200 dedicated funistas. Geoff Broadfeild of Broadfield Wines hosted the evening and performer Denise Gold enlivened things further withher soecial brand of Hi Jinx entertainment. A wonderful night topped off with a flurry of sales! Lots of lucky people must have recieved some beautiful and unique Christmas gifts.
The show is continuing until the 30th January with plenty of opportunities for visitors to take home a beautifual piece of art, handcrafted here in the valley.
From magnificent Still Life paintings by award winning painter Frances Fussell to miniatures by Sally Mathews and Adrienne Crouch Baigent the exhibiton also includes some of the finerst handblown glass available in the country - that's the entire country not just the rural countryside of NSW - by Setsuko Ogishi; jewellery by Gabby Horvath lovingly and skillfully designed and constructed from sterling silver, 9ct gold, natural stones and pearls that any woman would be delighted to own as well as useful objects such as dip knives, letter openers and bowls this exhibiton really is a smorgasbord of delights.
The exhibiton is open from 10 am - 4pm Tuesday to Saturday and from 12 noon until 4pm on Sundays at the gallery at 16 Vincent Street.
