A Puccini Gala

Prepare yourself for a special treat this spring as Opera in the Vineyards presents a gala concert to celebrate the world’s greatest opera composer, Giacomo Puccini. Passionate and romantic, his exhilarating music touches the heart and stirs the emotions. Add the breathtaking surrounds of the vineyards, superb food and wine and great company, and you have an experience not to be missed!

To delight audiences the concert will feature the stunning voices of two sopranos and two tenors: Amelia Farrugia and Sharon Prero, regarded as two of the best sopranos in the country; together with the gifted Italian tenor Carlo Barricelli and the brilliant Aldo Di Toro, who have distinguished themselves as leading tenors on operatic stages throughout the world. Musical direction will be provided by the highly respected Julia de Plater and the evening will be hosted by a special guest Jean Kittson, one of Australia’s most popular comedians.

Guests are invited to arrive early to indulge their taste buds at a food and wine fair. Then, as the sun sets slowly over the vines, it’s time to take your seats in the magnificent open-air amphitheatre and prepare to enjoy an unrivalled evening of passion and romance!
