The conference centre’s and facilities provide the flexibility to accommodate substantial numbers of delegates and different sized events with comfort and ease. All conference venues offer natural light and state-of-the-art technical facilities to make every conference a success.

Facilities

Cypress Centre – Cypress Lakes Resort’s newest addition. The Cypress Centre is the ideal venue for small conference groups or breakout rooms for larger conference groups.
Convention Centre – Is an extremely flexible and functional conference space. In its primary form, the convention centre is a 364 square meter, pillar-less space. It has the ability to be broken down into up to as many as six smaller rooms, making it very popular for breakout meetings and team building activities.
Event Centre – The Event Centre is the ideal venue for large conference sessions or big dinner functions. This venue is very versatile and is also an excellent indoor space for exhibitions and trade shows.
Lagoon Pool Marquee – The marquee is commonly used for outdoor luncheons and barbecues, pre dinner drinks, wine tastings, cocktail functions or as a conference venue in itself. The lagoon pool marquee has it all thanks to versatility.

Directions:

Directions to Cypress Lakes Resort: From the centre of Sydney, cross the Harbour Bridge and proceed along Pacific Highway north to the National 1 (F3) freeway at Wahroonga. Travel north along the freeway towards Newcastle (approximately 1 hour). Turn off the National 1 (F3) freeway at Cessnock/Kurri Kurri exit and proceed to Cessnock. As you enter Cessnock along Aberdare Road, turn right at the first set of traffic lights onto Vincent Street (following the directional signs to Branxton). Proceed to the end of Vincent Street. Turn left at traffic lights onto Wollombi Road (following the directional signs to Branxton) and then first right at the traffic lights onto Allandale Road, passing swimming pool on the left and McDonald's Restaurant on the right. Proceed along Allandale Road. Five kilometres out of Cessnock and you will pass the Cessnock Airport on the left-hand side. Turn left 500 metres past the airport into Broke Road. Follow Broke Road for approximately three kilometres to the "T" intersection. Turn left at the "T" intersection onto McDonalds Road. Remain on this road, and you will find Cypress Lakes Resort (Thompsons Road) on your right-hand side (after Brokenwood and Tamburlaine Wineries).

Burning of the Vines

Celebrated during vintage in European vineyards since ancient times, the Burning of the Vines ritual celebrates the end of the grape harvest and the start of the new season’s budburst, with grapevine cuttings burnt in huge bonfires to symbolise rebirth. This May and June all delegates will have the opportunity to participate in the symbolically burning.
