A stellar line-up of wineries, brewers and entertainers confirmed for 2023 Hunter Valley Wine & Beer Festival – Saturday 24 June, 2023

The 2023 Hunter Valley Wine & Beer Festival has attracted 54 of the Valley’s best wineries and brewers, along with quality dining and entertainment throughout the festival at Lovedale on Saturday 24 June.

The festival will be held from 11am to 5pm at Rydges Resort Hunter Valley (formerly Crowne Plaza Hunter Valley).

With the Hunter Valley boasting an outstanding 2023 vintage, there will be plenty of reasons to taste the wines from legendary producers such as Drayton’s, Brokenwood, Hungerford Hill, McGuigans and Pepper Tree, as well as boutique wineries like Gundog, Gartelman, 1813 and Comyns & Co.

Brewers such as Block n Tackle Brewery, Shout and Sydney Brewery will be exhibiting, along with an enticing array of tempting artisan foods from local providores including the Upper Hunter Smokehouse, Donarch Fine Chocolates and the Hunter Valley Cheese Factory.

There will be live entertainment throughout the day from Chloe Gill (11am – 2pm) and the  Felix Quinn Band from 2pm – 5pm.

The Hunter Valley Wine & Beer Festival is a family-friendly event, with children receiving complimentary entry to the Festival, where they will enjoy a variety of activities including a jumping castle, train rides, and face painting.

There is plenty of onsite parking at Rydges Resort and for visitors staying in the Hunter Valley over the weekend, Vineyard Shuttles is providing return transfers from their accommodation to the festival for just $20 pp. Bookings can be made via 02 4991 3655 or tours@vineyardshuttle.com.au

Once again, the Festival will support the local Rural Fire Service, with fundraising activities on the day.

General Admission tickets are available for $15pp ($25pp on the day) through Moshtix (booking fees apply). Children have free access to the event when accompanying parents.

Tastings are available for $2 each (30ml wine, 100ml beer/cider).  Cans of beer will also be available.
