Blissfully quiet, you will wake up to beautiful birdsong and grazing kangaroos. Your accommodation is set amongst our vineyards and 100 acres of lush, native bushland in Australia's oldest wine region, the Hunter Valley. The 16 log cabins style motel rooms have sprightly colour schemes. All rooms have country style beds, split system air conditioning, tea and coffee facilities, mini bar, TV and spacious shower ensuites. All rooms overlook vineyards and spacious grounds frequented by Kangaroos and native birds.

Single night weekend and midweek dinner, bed and breakfast package bookings are subject to availability, please call to check availability. Please call or Email if you require an individually tailored package or group/conference package. Two night DBB packages include a 3 course a la carte dinner in our restaurant Shakey Tables on one night.

Situated in the centre of the lodge is our award winning restaurant, Shakey Tables. Chef Paula Rengger's menu is classically inspired contemporary Australian, creatively interpreted, influenced by her Scottish heritage and cooked with honesty and passion. Paula's artistic and design talent extends far from the kitchen with her own gallery of modern paintings adorning the restaurant walls. The assortment of classic tables and colourful chairs, contrasting with Paula's modern art, sets a style that gives our restaurant it's name. Serving contemporary Australian cuisine and an extensive range of Estate, Hunter, Australian and international fine wines. The restaurant is open 7 nights from 6:30pm and lunch from 12pm Saturday and Sunday.

All wines produced on the estate are available within the rooms or for cellar door purchase.

Cancellation Policy

Accommodation
1. If HVWCT’s client cancels outside (& inclusive of) 29 days of the arrival date 100% refund to client.
2. If HVWCT’s client cancels between (& inclusive of) 28 and 15 days of the arrival date operator to receive 50% of the booking total if total of accommodation is not relet.
3. If HVWCT’s client cancels within (& inclusive of) 14 days of arrival date no refund applies to client and operator will be paid in full less 10% commission.
4. In the event of HVWCT reselling the total of cancelled accommodation client to receive 100% refund.

PLEASE NOTE: A $25 administration fee applies to any cancellation and ALL refunds exclude the $3.85 booking fee.
