The complex overlooks the fairways of The Vintage golf course; it is the only Greg Norman-designed course that is accessible to the public in NSW.
Chateau Elan interiors blend contemporary tones, rich textures and original art; Nespresso Essenza coffee-making systems, spa baths, French Thalgo bathroom amenities and 42-inch LCD TV with movie channels are just some of the standard inclusions. An iPod docking station invites guests to add their own soundtrack to the Hunter Valley views, while lobby WiFi and in room broadband internet connection are provided for those who need to tell the world about conquering Greg Norman's dreaded 8th!
Guests stay in three types of luxury residence:
Twenty super-luxury Spa Suites are located within the Spa complex. They offer Ergomotion beds and a sensual plinth-mounted bath open to the room and separate shower.
A series of private villas has 40 Spa King rooms and 40 One-Bedroom Spa Villas. These can be co-joined to offer Two-Bedroom Spa Villas for groups of friends or family. All rooms have balconies or terraces overlooking Vintage fairways and the vales of the Hunter Valley.
Chateau Elan offers conference and event space for up to 190 delegates in a selection of five unique venues including the historic Sandstone Carriage House. The Vintage clubhouse and golf pro shop is open daily and Legends Cafe and Grill is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
Chateau Elan is just two hours drive north of Sydney or 45 minutes from Newcastle airport.

Resident within our Destination Spa complex, you are only ever moments from massage, beauty treatments and hydrotherapy; an exclusive airbridge� means you are guaranteed privacy and ease-of-access. Spa Suites offer 48 square metres of space, carefully tailored to augment the processes of relaxation and rejuvenation: exclusive to the Suite is an open, plinth-mounted spa bath that is both sophisticated and sensual, and an Ergomotion king size bed offering multiple massage therapies and zero-gravity function. Cancellation Policy
Accommodation
1.If HVWCT?s client cancels outside (& inclusive of) 29 days of the arrival date 100% refund to client
2.If HVWCT?s client cancels between (& inclusive of) 28 - 15 days of the arrival date operator to receive 50% of the booking total. If accommodation is not relet.
3.If HVWCT?s client cancels within (& inclusive of) 14 days of arrival date no refund applies to client and operator will be paid in full less 10% commission.
4.In the event of HVWCT reselling total cancelled accommodation client to receive 100% refund.
PLEASE NOTE: A $25 administration fee applies to any cancellation and ALL refunds exclude the $3.85 booking fee.
Directions:
From Cessnock, turn into Allandale Road/Wine Country Drive. Drive for approx 8 minutes and turn left into Palmers Lane (after Broke Road). Travel along Palmers Lane until you reach McDonalds Road and turn right. Proceed past Bimbadgen Estate Winery and turn right into Vintage Drive Travel for 1km inside The Vintage to the roundabout, and turn left and proceed to Chateau Elan.
