The guest house is fully self contained with a sitting/dining room with log fire for the winter and also reverse cycle a/c and heating in all of our 5 en-suite rooms.
The guest house is a heritage building, infact it was the pay office for miners up until the 1970's. The old safe was huge and is now our fully fitted kitchen, available for our guests to use. We have at least one family of kangaroos who, at sunrise and sunset, come to graze on the side lawns and drink from one of our several beautiful dams. Your arrival and departure times can be altered to suit your timetable just let us know the times you require.

Cancellation Policy
Accommodation
1. If HVWCT’s client cancels outside (& inclusive of) 29 days of the arrival date 100% refund to client.
2. If HVWCT’s client cancels between (& inclusive of) 28 and 15 days of the arrival date operator to receive 50% of the booking total if total of accommodation is not relet.
3. If HVWCT’s client cancels within (& inclusive of) 14 days of arrival date no refund applies to client and operator will be paid in full less 10% commission.
4. In the event of HVWCT reselling the total of cancelled accommodation client to receive 100% refund.
PLEASE NOTE: A $25 administration fee applies to any cancellation and ALL refunds exclude the $3.85 booking fee.
Directions:
From Cessnock take Wollombi road going towards Millfield. From Cessnock you will go through Bellbird Heights and Bellbird then under the pinch, stay on Wollombi Rd. we are about 10 Kms. out of Cessnock on the right-hand side. You will see our signs on the side of the road. From Sydney you can take the Peats Ridge turn off and come in through Wollombi. In Wollombi take the right turn onto the Wollombi road and stay on it - approx. 20mins driving time - and then you will see our signs on the left before our driveway.
