Situated on a hill overlooking the vineyard out to the panoramic Watagan and Brokenback Mountains where views, privacy, relaxation and the sunsets are something not to be missed.
This tastefully decorated self contained cottage has many inclusions to make your stay as comfortable as possible You can enjoy a glass or two of wine on one of two verandahs, while taking in the serenity of country life at it's best with only the call of the birds to disturb the quietness. In the colder months imagine being curled up with a good book ,perhaps glass of wine, in front of a beautiful cosy fire. (Heaven). Restaurants, vineyards and shopping centres are only a short drive away. You will be very welcome to visit our cellar door where you will receive 20% discount off all wine purchased. Enjoy tastings of our many table wines, as well as Lemonella, fortified and sparkling wines. As a gift to a special someone, we have gift vouchers that are redeemable within 12 months for that escape to the Hunter Valley. (some conditions apply).
All wines are made on the premises so you can have a short tour of winery, distillery and underground cellar.

Cancellation Policy
Accommodation
1. If HVWCT’s client cancels outside (& inclusive of) 29 days of the arrival date 100% refund to client.
2. If HVWCT’s client cancels between (& inclusive of) 28 and 15 days of the arrival date operator to receive 50% of the booking total if total of accommodation is not relet.
3. If HVWCT’s client cancels within (& inclusive of) 14 days of arrival date no refund applies to client and operator will be paid in full less 10% commission.
4. In the event of HVWCT reselling the total of cancelled accommodation client to receive 100% refund.
PLEASE NOTE: A $25 administration fee applies to any cancellation and ALL refunds exclude the $3.85 booking fee.
Directions:
From Sydney take the F3 Freeway north towards Newcastle. After 100kms exit the F3 at Cessnock/Hunter Valley Vineyards exit sign Follow the signs to Cessnock. In Cessnock continue to the northern end of Vincent St. and turn left into Wollombi Rd.,continue along this road for 12kms to the village of Millfield. Turn right the 2nd corner from the village shop into Mt. View Rd. Brown Vineyard sign on this corner. Proceed 1.5 kms along this road turning right into Hunters Rd. Reception at the homestead 150mtres on Hunters Rd.
Route 2: Turn off F3 at Peats Ridge and travel through the Scenic Route T33 to Wollombi. Turn right into Wollombi Rd. travel approx. 18kms to Millfield. After crossing new long concrete bridge turn the 1st left hand corner (Vineyard sign) Mt. View Rd.
