Avoca House is a unique country retreat with 2 spacious modern wings which are linked to the main homestead by a wrap-around vine covered veranda. Both wings offer living areas, ensuites, verandahs with country views and a charming courtyard in which to relax and unwind. The North & South Wings combined can accommodate 8 (to 10) guests.

The five generously appointed bedrooms are supplied with premium linen, cosy blankets and towels. Two of the three bathrooms have under-floor heating and each wing contains a lounge area with slow combustion fireplace, air-con, tea & coffee facilities.

Guests can enjoy a scrumptious home-made, hearty cooked breakfast, including fresh espresso coffee & freshly squeezed orange juice, served in the homestead dining room or courtyard.

South Wing A large veranda sweeps around to the South Wing with views onto the wetland lake, and ponds, full of diverse birdlife. Each Queen Ensuite is centred around a shared lounge area with fireplace, comfortable lounges, CD & DVD players, tea & coffee making facilities and a bar fridge.

This 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom suite can accommodate 4-6 guests: * One queen room with ensuite; and * One queen bedroom with ensuite (or two-way bathroom to adjoining twin room) * Bathrooms/ensuites with under-floor heating.

North Wing Large windows in each of the two bedrooms provide views across the property up to the Corrabare State Forest, making these generously proportioned rooms most peaceful. This country retreat features a large lounge-room with leather sofas, dining table, fireplace, CD player, DVD player, air-conditioning, ceiling fans in all rooms, tea & coffee making facilities and bar fridge.

Cancellation Policy

1.If HVWCT's client cancels outside (& inclusive of) 29 days of the arrival date 100% refund to client 2.If HVWCT's client cancels between (& inclusive of) 28 - 15 days of the arrival date operator to receive 50% of the booking total. If accommodation is not relet. 3.If HVWCT's client cancels within (& inclusive of) 14 days of arrival date no refund applies to client and operator will be paid in full less 10% commission. 4.In the event of HVWCT reselling total cancelled accommodation client to receive 100% refund.

PLEASE NOTE: A $25 administration fee applies to any cancellation and ALL refunds exclude the $3.85 booking fee.

Directions:

* Take the right turn-off to the F3 at Wahroonga to Newcastle.

* Travel approximately 35 kms on the F3

* Not long after Mt White turn off you will see signs to Peats Ridge 36 and Glenworth Valley Horse Riding take this Left exit - at Calga Interchange - Peats Ridge 36 Route 33 - Peats Ridge Road which is the scenic route to Cessnock from here it's 67kms to Wollombi.

* Follow signs to Wollombi and later on the road becomes George Downes Drive then Great North Road. You will travel through Central Mangrove, Kulnura, The Letter A, Bucketty, Laguna ... Wollombi!

* Upon entering Wollombi at Dr Jurds Jungle Juice Tavern take right turn to Cessnock Route 33 Travel through the Village, we're 2kms on your right just after the 80km sign. Look for white barrel letterbox and you'll see Avoca House
