There are 10 acres of premium grape vines and two near new self-contained villas, Villa Chardonnay and Villa Semillon, named as such because of the vines they look over.
Each villa has 2-bedrooms with wardrobe, powerful ceiling fan plus a spacious modern ensuite with spa-bath, separate shower, toilet and vanity basin with large mirror over. The living area is spacious and air-conditioned; there is a kitchen, dining and living area. The kitchen is modern and has a refrigerator with freezer, stone benchtop, 4 burner cooktop, microwave with grill & crisper functions, there is a separate tap at the kitchen sink which provides filtered drinking water, kitchen cupboards contain a toaster, kettle and all you need in the way of utensils pots & pans and cutlery. The dining area has dining table & chairs and cabinet with serving dishes and glasses. The lounge area has a modern micro-suede corner lounge, coffee table and TV unit with flat screen digital television, CD/DVD player. Villa Chardonnay also has accessible facilities.
Each villa has a spacious front verandah with outdoor furniture and gas BBQ and the most spectacular views over the Brokenback Ranges.
At DenMar Estate you will be really pampered; tariff includes provisions for a gourmet breakfast (bacon, eggs, mushrooms, tomatoes, bread for toast, cereal, juice, tea and coffee), cheeseplate & chocolates on arrival plus a bottle of our award winning wine of your chosing from our licenced premises (one per villa). All bedding, linen and towels are provided.
We have a liquor licence to sell wines, a cellar door and an on-site cafe. we offer our guests a private wine tasting and 10% discount of wine purchses.
For those staying two nights or more and time permitting Dennis will provide a free narrated tour of the vineyard.
DenMar Estate is close to quality restaurants and wineries; everything else the Hunter has to offer is a short drive away, whether it is skydiving, hot air ballooning, scenic flights, golf, arts & crafts or bicycle hire (bicycles can be delivered to the accommodation).
Winery tours will pick up at the property and Rover Coaches will pick up at the front of the property for guests going to the concerts.

2007 Vintage Chardonnay - Trophy and Gold Medal at 2008 Hunter Valley Boutique Winemakers Show. 2007 Vintage Pinot Noir won a Bronze Medal at the same Show. 2007 Vintage Chardonnay won a Bronze Medal at the 2008 Hunter Valley Wine Show.
Cancellation Policy
Accommodation
DenMar Estate offers a full refund less $50 administration fee if cancelled up to 14 days from stay date after which 100% of booking is charged unless room can be re-let in which case full refund less $50 administration fee will be charged.
Directions:
From Sydney travel via F3 freeway to Cessnock turnoff follow signs to Cessnock, from Cessnock follow vineyard signs to Broke Road turn into Broke Road and travel until you reach Hermitage Road. Turn right into Hermitage Road, DenMar Estate is approximately 8kms on right. From Newcastle airport, Maitland & Singleton travel along New England Highway until you reach Hermitage Road, DenMar Estate is 4.79kms on left hand side.
