The Cessnock Performing Arts Centre opened in November 2008. Sitting neatly between two historically significant, the redevelopment is an award winning complex, comprising of a 466 seat theatre space, foyer, kitchen, two program rooms, a meeting room and two outdoor performance areas. There is an adjacent car park with 70 parking spaces. The Centre is available for Professional Hire, Corporate Functions, Meetings, Seminars/Workshops, Church Services, Community Events and School Productions. The annual program features a wide variety of performances and events, including Drama, Musicals, Opera, Music Theatre, Children’s Programs and More, produced by local, interstate and international companies.
