We can confirm the weekend of May 22^nd & 23^rd 2010 has been confirmed as the date for the 2^nd staging of The Great Hunter Cycling Classic is a mass participation cycling event catering for all levels of cycling enthusiast from the serious to touring and recreational riders. Set in the picturesque Hunter Valley Wine Country, this Exclusive Hunter Valley event offers riders the opportunity to participate in a wide variety of individual and team challenges circumnavigating central Pokolbin. Given the vast spectrum of cycling experience expected at the event, riders can choose a fun, team, short or long course ride, with the flexibility of the course encouraging both non-competitive participation/ leisure pursuits and elite competition options - You Choose

With strong support from Cycling NSW the event will be staged alone on the Cycling NSW calendar preventing any other potential conflicting cycling events. This is a huge boost for the event which  was a great success in its inaugural year last year.

This year’s event brings with it more cycling options for participants including the addition of a Mountain Biking event on the Saturday.

Other exciting releases will follow shortly which will give this ‘must do’ event even more momentum as it rides into the future.
